The Man.- Milo VentimigliaMilo Anthony Ventimiglia (born July 8, 1977) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the NBC series Heroes as idealistic hero Peter Petrelli, in the television series Gilmore Girls as Rory's rebel boyfriend Jess Mariano, and as Rocky's son Robert Balboa in the final movie of the Rocky saga, Rocky Balboa.Ventimiglia was born in Anaheim, California, He attended El Modena High School in Orange, California, where he wrestled and held the office of president in student government (ASB). He graduated in 1995. At eighteen years of age, Ventimiglia received a scholarship to study at the American Conservatory Theater for their summer program. He attended UCLA as a Theatre Arts major for four years.At eighteen years of age, Ventimiglia started auditioning, booking jobs, and working his way up. From there, Ventimiglia studied at UCLA before landing a role on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Ventimiglia has also guest starred on such television series as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Boston Public. He had the part of the main character, Jed Perry, in the short-lived FOX TV series, Opposite Sex.From 2001 to 2004, Ventimiglia played brooding teen Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls. A Hot Summer Season FinaleJoe: (holds his head in his hands) Damn, I screwed up big time.Rachel: (walks over and sits by Joe on the couch) What happened?Joe: My girlfriend just broke up with me.Rachel: Why?Joe: I came here with you last night and got drunk and when she really needed me I wasnt there, and now here we are and Im single. Rachel: She wont let you have a little fun with a friend?Joe: Well I guess she found out we dated and also Kevin called me tonight and told me to go to the hospital because they needed me and I was drunk. Well her dad died and I wasnt there for her and it sucks because I really truly love her.Rachel: Im really sorry Joe. Is there anything I can do?Joe: No, I screwed up. Ill deal with it.Rachel: Well Im going to bed so good night. You can crash here tonight.Okay now Im gonna skip a few days ahead- the girls mom comes and they all go to the funeral. Nick and Kevin go to support the girls. Now it is the day after the funeral. The girls and their mom are at the hotel room where they were staying.Mrs. C: Girls, you probably arent gonna like this but I cant leave you here for the rest of the summer so yall are gonna have to come back to Houston.Mallory: What?! Ashley: Mom! How could you do this to us?Mrs. C: I cant leave you here by yourselves and you are not staying with Chelsey and the boys for the rest of the summer.Jamie: Good I wanna get away from here.Ashley: Ill go but on one condition- we stay one more night.Mrs. C: Thats fine because the flight doesnt leave until noon tomorrow.Mallory: Okay thanks mom.While all of this is going on Joe is thinking of ways to get Jamie back and has no clue that the girls are leaving tomorrow. The girls go out with the boys and Jamie stays home. But they just go out to dinner and see a movie and the boys offer to take the girls and their mom to the airport the next day. The girls accept the offer. The next day on the way to the airport the seating arrangement in the Escalade is Mrs. C up front with Big Rob, Nick, Ashley and Jamie in the front row and Mallory and Kevin in the back row. Its a very quiet ride. They get to the airport and Mrs. C goes inside to give the kids some privacy saying good-byes.Nick: (holding Ashley) I love you Ash.Ashley: I love you too Nicky-Poo. Im just kidding but I do love you.Nick: Im gonna miss you but well talk every day.Ashley: Okay (Nick leans down and passionately kisses Ashley)Nick: Im gonna miss that most. I love you.Ashley: I love you too. (She pecks him on the lips real quick and they hug and she walks inside to help her mom)Kevin: Im gonna miss you Mall. We never got to go on that date.Mallory: Youll have to come to Texas to make it up some time. (She kisses him on the cheek) Thanks for everything Kevin.Kevin: Anytime, and we will make that date up. Well now I'm pissed. As if I wasn't already pissed before this episode aired, they go and end things with a big ol' fizzle. Unfortunately for all of us, Rob Thomas took a gamble that the series would get picked up for a new season, so we're left what feels very, very much like a *season* ender, not a series ender.
