The summer my son was 6 I asked him where he wanted to go on vacation and he said, "I wanna go see the mountain with faces." So, assuming he meant Mt. Rushmore, which isn't a too terribly long drive from St. Paul, that's where we went. I had read in some parenting magazine that a way to keep the kids occupied while on vacation was to get them a couple of those disposable cameras so they can take pictures. In retrospect, I'm thinking that the person who wrote the article never had any kids or never took them on vacation, because when I got my son the camera and we climbed in the car, he took all the pictures in about the first 10 minutes. Oh well. We have a bunch of pictures of the horizon and the sky taken out of my green Geo Metro. We stopped in Mitchell to see the Corn Palace, and this tune eventually came out. So there you have it....
