DISCLAIMER: I made this video at the same maturity level as Keith's daily "worst person of the world" lists; which he often aims at commentators who have been more successful than he's been. Although I agree with some of Keith's commentaries (particularly regarding the Iraq war,) I generally find him somewhat longwinded. Like most pseudo-intellectual wannabes, he seems to overload his rhetoric in order to disguise the fact that he's really offering nothing more than a series of exaggerated sanctimonious platitudes. Also I find his little angry pauses, facial grimaces and outraged vocal tones to be rather phony.In addition, I don't understand why he so rarely brings opposing viewpoints onto his show? Perhaps he himself realizes how empty many of his statements are and knows that they'll fall apart under any serious scrutiny. It's also interesting how liberals are always crying out against the unfairness of conservative commentators while at the same time they're embracing their own preferred political news pundits. The bizarre and somewhat disturbing thing about the interview today is that McCain was already called out for denying he'd said he wasn't an expert on the economy. He denied it before and Tim Russert busted him for it. Yet, he tried the denial again today anyway. That's just a bit weird to say the least. Includes video.
