Are Solar Sails Set to Become Reality?
The first person to propose a solar sail was Johannes Kepler in the 17th century, although solar sails may be set to become reality shortly as NASA is getting ready to test the concept with 100-square-foot sail called the NanoSail-D which is set to launch on July 29th (BTW you can also follow the progress on the mission on Twitter).

The Glan looks out for Liverpool Tall Ships Race 2008
The Tall Ships are in Liverpool from the 18th to the 21st July and customers and staff at The Glan Yr Afon Inn will be hoping to see the parade of sail and the start of the race on the 21st July from the new Beer Garden.
