Men At Work - Down Under / Who Can It Be Now / Its A Mistake

The Commonwealth of Australia is a country in the southern hemisphere comprising the mainland of the world's smallest continent, the major island of Tasmania, and a number of other islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The neighbouring countries are Indonesia, East Timor, and Papua New Guinea to the north, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia to the north-east, and New Zealand to the south-east.The Australian mainland has been inhabited for more than 42,000 years by indigenous Australians. After sporadic visits by fishermen from the north and then European discovery by Dutch explorers in 1606, the eastern half of Australia was later claimed by the British in 1770 and initially settled through penal transportation to the colony of New South Wales, commencing on 26 January 1788. As the population grew and new areas were explored, another five largely self-governing Crown Colonies were established during the 19th century. On 1 January 1901, the six colonies became a federation, and the Commonwealth of Australia was formed. Since federation, Australia has maintained a stable liberal democratic political system and remains a Commonwealth realm. The capital city is Canberra, located in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The population is just over 21 million, with approximately 60% of the population concentrated in and around the mainland state capitals of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.New Zealand is a country in the south-western Pacific Ocean comprising two large islands (the North Island and the South Island) and numerous smaller islands, most notably Stewart Island/Rakiura and the Chatham Islands. The indigenous Māori named New Zealand Aotearoa, which is usually translated into English as The Land of the Long White Cloud. The Realm of New Zealand also includes the Cook Islands and Niue, which are self-governing but in free association; Tokelau; and the Ross Dependency (New Zealand's territorial claim in Antarctica).New Zealand is notable for its geographic isolation, being separated from Australia to the northwest by the Tasman Sea, approximately 2000 kilometres (1250 miles) across. Its closest neighbours to the north are New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga. In its long isolation New Zealand developed a distinctive fauna dominated by birds, many of which became extinct after the arrival of humans and the mammals they introduced. The population is mostly of European descent, with the indigenous Māori being the largest minority. Asians and non-Maori Polynesians are also significant minorities, especially in the cities. Elizabeth II, as the Queen of New Zealand, is the Head of State and, in her absence, is represented by a non-partisan Governor-General. The Queen 'reigns but does not rule.' She has no real political influence, and her position is essentially symbolic. Political power is held by the democratically elected Parliament of New Zealand under the leadership of the Prime Minister, who is the Head of Government.

Sailing the Caribbean

"Nicole and I made a film about the sailing adventure of Marianne and Gaétan. 15 days aboard the sailboat Alegria 11, in the Bay Islands, in Honduras. All we needed to make a film on their new life: Sailing around the world on a superb 49 foot aluminium hull cutter, leaving their surroundings, the family, the friends and all significant persons. Leaving all that is familiar, all their references in the smallest detail. The shots were taken in and around the islands of Roatan, Guanaja, Los Cochinos, West-End, Utila, and eventually, La Ceiba on the continent. A 56 mts documentary, sailing in the Garifuna Land and visiting their marvellous inhabitants. A film by Louis Charbonneau (Production du Roi-Soleil), music by Clément Lévesque. For more information on the DVD, see:http://www.voileevasion.qc.ca/sailing_the_caribbean.htm

Clarifying Mixed People and Beauty

*I Messed Up Australia is a Continent not an island - but i always mistake it for an island because it is worlds smallest continent*Clarifying what I meant by 100% I mean small populations - Small groups cause genes to shift from the norm of a larger groups. Its part of the reason the English Royalty had hemophilia - because they were sleeping with relatives - people with very similar genes to themselves. There are groups within groups in Europe, Africa, and Asia where even their genes are far from the norm within their own races. The mountain people of the Andes have barrel shaped chest - because of the altitude at which they live. The people who live in the vallies do not. The Barrel chest is an adaptation to life at that altitude because it allows for larger breathes of air to be inhaled more easily.

Equatorial Guinea National Anthem

Equatorial Guinea gained independence in 1968 after 190 years of Spanish rule. This tiny country, composed of a mainland portion plus five inhabited islands, is one of the smallest on the African continent. President Teodoro OBIANG NGUEMA MBASOGO has ruled the country since 1979 when he seized power in a coup. Although nominally a constitutional democracy since 1991, the 1996 and 2002 presidential elections - as well as the 1999 and 2004 legislative elections - were widely seen as flawed. The president exerts almost total control over the political system and has discouraged political opposition. Equatorial Guinea has experienced rapid economic growth due to the discovery of large offshore oil reserves, and in the last decade has become Sub-Saharan Africa's third largest oil exporter. Despite the country's economic windfall from oil production resulting in a massive increase in government revenue in recent years, there have been few improvements in the population's living standards.Capital: name: Malabo geographic coordinates: 3 45 N, 8 47 E time difference: UTC+1 (6 hours ahead of Washington, DC during Standard Time) Administrative divisions: 7 provinces (provincias, singular - provincia); Annobon, Bioko Norte, Bioko Sur, Centro Sur, Kie-Ntem, Litoral, Wele-Nzas https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ek.html
