Al Hodge: Guitars / VocalsMark Talamo: DrumsSteve Talamo: BassTUNGSTEN started as SAM SNOT in 1985, by the end 1990 they changed their name to TUNGSTEN by 1993 with the help of Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR / DOWN) they landed a record contract with Pavement Music and released "183.85" in Nov. of 1993. The band released "74" in 1995 through a Swedish Label, "The Survival Kit" in 1997 on a Dutch Label, "The Abuse" in 2003 and "If Death Doesn't Change You ... Nothing Will" in 2005 independently. In August of 2005 Hurricane Katrina destroyed the Gulf Coast and the band's home town of Chalmette, LA - 5 miles outside of downtown New Orleans, felt the worst wrath from the breeching of the levees, sending Al to relocate to Texas for work. In Sept of 2006 the band felt it had runs it's course and have called it quits.
