This one is about the future and how dna manipulation has to take into account the rights of every creature and that the industrial corporate complex tends to be crueler than evolution's natural selection. Mother Nature looks at all of the angles whereas the dna-manipulating industry tends to create disharmonious mutation. Just watch independent documentaries about monsanto and you'll see how sick greed turns the fruit of scientific exploration into something horrible. where's the weather underground when you need them?for this episode i used clips from green jello, the weird al show, a bob hope movie "the ghost busters", a dna documentary narrated by jeff goldblum that was really very good, charles murphy from chappelle's prince sketch, freddy from one of the elm streets, the cantina creatures from "star wars", and the end clip is from "the andromeda strain".It's funny some of these episodes have been removed due to "copyright infringement" when i've expressed that this is an amateur vid edit zine and won't be making any money. that it's strictly so i can get my head around the world we live in by remixing video culture. things have got to change on this planet or we'll sink into a toxic sludge and over-populate til...ah whatever. i'm almost done writing a paperback novel called "the scientifically-plausible spaceship adventure story" where i solve the world's problems. hopefully done in a month.
