The outcome may affect the Super Delegate status. Cause he supports Senator Hillary Clinton. She is facing a tight race for the Democratic nomination. After all her biggest rival is Senator Barack Obama. On March 17, 2008, Spitzer will resign leading the way for David Paterson to step up to the plate.
