The term may have originated from USA in the late 70's when doctors and lawyers in the Florida area used heavy exercise and fitness on the weekends.The new week end warrior is one who takes their health very serious. They understand that their health is their greatest wealth. With Health being so important , how we take care of body is key. The main areas that Warriors find challenge is low back and tight shoulders.The low back is tight for a few reasons: lack of hydration, tight back muscles and weak abdominal.lack of hydration- if you do not get enough to drink the tissue all over your body starts to preserve and the low back area is affected first. i suggest warriors drink up to 128 ounces a day to make sure the body is hydrated.tight low back muscles are a result of the body have to compensate for poor posture. Not standing up straight has a major effect on the back. Tight hamstring also contribute to tight low back. I suggest each week-end warrior take five minutes a day and release their back muscles and hamstrings.Weak abs are a over looked reason for low back pain. Look at your body and the relationship between your abs and your low back. They are opposites. if the abs are weak or the colon is backed up the back could potentially be out of alignment.
