I walk up there to Mira's room to see Joe knocking on the door. Joe: she won't open the door. Melanie: because she hasn't seen you in a long time and you told her to go away. Joe: Well no one told me she was co- Melanie: shhh I dont care watch this. Joe: you can't shh m- Melanie: Do you want to talk to Mira or not? Joe: fine Melanie: Mira, please open up it's Mel. Mira: kay. Mira opens the door and Joe hugs her so tight and I see her hug back. Joe: I'm sorry. Mira: fine. Melanie: Mission accomplished. I walked down the hall to find my favorite brother Nick I saw him playing the guitar probably writing a new song. Melanie: hey Nick Nick: sup Mel. Melanie: Why is our family insane?Nick: Joe or Kev? Melanie: both, but mainly Kevin.Nick: haha well I dont know but can you help me with this song. Melanie: sure maybe that should be "Cant make it alive on my own but if you gotta go then please girl just leave me alone cause I dont want to see you and me going our separate ways I'm begging you to stay If it isnt too late."? Nick: wow that was really good. that will work. Melanie: thanks I hope it fits. Nick: it doe- ( CRASH) Nick+Melanie: Joe and Mira Nick: sugar? Melanie: redbulls. We run downstairs to find Joe and Mira running around the downstairs living room with redbulls in their hands. Melanie: LUNA-MIRACLE TWILIGHT JONAS! Nick: JOSEPH ADAM JONAS! Kevin: what's with the yelling? They had redbulls didnt they? Melanie: ya think. Mira: well we only had maybe 2, 3 packs Nick: WHAT!? Joe: we only had- uh oh I dont feel so good. Mira: neither do I Melanie: well I would love to stay here and clean up puke but I gotta go upstairs. I ran up there as fast as I could and ran into my room. I sat on my bed and even though my family is insane I love them.

I sung this tonight at the 2008 "Lest We Forget" 9/11 memorial concert. My voice teacher Steve Kalke invited me to sing again this year. Steve's accompanying me on piano. This song is called Hard Times Come Again No More and it was written by Stephen C. Foster in 1854.
