Proving the Worldwide Flood (Part 2)

My response to coonkiller92's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UZO6t...WHERE DID THE WATER COME FROM?There are two sources for the water of the great flood:The Fountains of the Great DeepThe Windows of heaven1. The fountains of the Great DeepThe phrase Great Deep is used three other times: Isaiah 51:10, Amos 7:4, and Psalm 36:6. The first two times refer to the ocean and the last refers to God's judgment. The phrase 'deep' is used many other times and is almost always used to mean 'oceans'.These 'fountains' were the source of the majority of the water. These are called 'Hydrothermal vents.'(1)This great rift may have happened at the Mid Atlantic Ridge. Scientists have discovered an enormous 'open 'wound' in the middle of the ridge. This may be where the main rift happened to allow water to fill the earth.(2)The source of this water is reservoirs of magma supersaturated with water that had collected in the regions below the boundary of the oceanic crust in the Asthenosphere.(3) There is enough water under the earth to fill the current oceans 10 times over.(4)2. The Windows of HeavenIt tells us in Genesis 7:12 that it rained for 40 days and 40 nights continuously. When God made the earth, He separated the waters above from the waters below. He said 'let there be an expanse between the waters. The expanse is the sky or atmosphere because God told the birds to fly in the expanse. (Genesis 1:6-8)Dr. Larry Vardiman suggests that much of the waters above could have been stored in small ice particles distributed in equatorial rings around the earth like Venus. The canopy could also been a vapor canopy(5) This water canopy is what caused the pre-flood conditions that allowed for people to live to 900 years old and animals to grow much larger than today. The problem has been presented that a 40 foot canopy would raise the temperature of the surface of the earth too high for life to survive. This is not a problem because the canopy did not need to contain enough water to cover the whole earth. The majority of the water came from the 'great deep'. The canopy could have been only 20in- 6 feet thick. This would have provided a stable greenhouse effect and tropical temperatures.(5)God did not destroy the canopy to flood the earth! The 'great deep' had that covered. He destroyed it to reduce the life expectancy to 120 years! (Genesis 6:3)WHERE DID THE WATER GO?Psalm 104:7-9 says7 But at your rebuke the waters fled, at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;8 they flowed over the mountains, they went down into the valleys, to the place you assigned for them.9 You set a boundary they cannot cross;never again will they cover the earth. The Bible says that the flood waters rose over the mountains and then sank back down into the valleys. This is supported by geology and physics. If it is assumed that Earth's sea levels were lower than today's, it becomes clear how all that water could recede quickly. There have always been fluctuations in sea levels(6). After the great amount of water was released from under the earth's crust and jetted upwards, it would have fallen into the regions above the earth's crust, thus creating severe downward pressure on the thin crust of the ocean floor. This bowing of the sea floor would continue until it reached an equilibrium.Scientists have recently discovered a new occurance at seafloor spreading ridges where water has been observed being absorbed into the porous mi of rock and sediment. "HOT ICE": SODIUM ACETATE 99.9% First Attempt

First attempt at making "HOT ICE" aka; supersaturation.. I think I got the ratio wrong a bit, as it seems to move REALLY slowly.. video is not in "slow mo", it's pretty 'cool' stuff though! It Also seems to not get REALLY hard like ICE (in other attempts), just gets kinda sloshy.. but still forms.Enjoy.

3-D Movies: Coming Back at You
The brick road wasn't just yellow. It was school-bus-parked-on-the-surface-of-the-sun yellow. That's because when The Wizard of Oz premiered in 1939, Hollywood was still testing its newest toy, three-color Technicolor, and studios wanted to astonish audiences with supersaturated hues.

Super-Saturated Cellular?
As I've traveled the world of wireless this decade one of the odder conventional wisdoms of wireless has been spouted like a mantra for years. That is, countries such as the U.S. or Canada are so behind in wireless because their mobile penetration is less than 100 percent.

Poppy Theme Weddings (Mood Board)
Poppies show up at weddings in different guises: zen-style, on backgrounds of black and white. Or Eastern, where lush table linens compete with the super-saturated blooms for attention. Or just plain modern, where you might fuse the reds and oranges with fuchsias and lime greens, for fun.

Rapid Crystallization (Supersaturated Solution Demo)
A seed crystal is dropped into an unstable supersaturatedsolution of sodium acetate NaC2H3O2 and it completelycrystallized in front of your eyes. This chemistry demonstration is prepared by heating 700 grams of sodiumacetate in 50mL of water in a flask until all the soliddissolves. The solution is then cooled back to roomtempe

Creative Zen Vision W Review
Fantastic widescreen display is perfect for movie playback: high resolution, great brightness and super-saturated color with a good viewing angle and sharpness. Sound quality is also excellent and the FM radio gets better reception than average, though the voice recorder is weak (though better than nothing).

See a supersaturated liquid turn to solid with this reusable handwarmer
The science geek got so excited I went out and bought three of these handwarmers just to show all my friends how awesome it is when reaction creeps through the liquid and changes it to a solid. Watch around the 1:40 point to see the chemical process.
