http://www.thaddeusmatthews.com/1).Story: Posted by Thaddeus Augustus Matthews Louise Patterson widow of Bishop G. E. Patterson has filed a lawsuit against Milton Hawkins the new pastor of the church in which her and her late husband built. Also included in the lawsuit is the bookkeeper Betty Spight. The lawsuit filed by Patterson is to protect the income from Bountiful Blessings Inc. a separate entity from Temple of Deliverance Inc. Bountiful Blessings Inc owns the rights to G.E. Patterson's name along with his ministry of tapes, books, and the broadcast on BET which cost $100,000 a month. Bountiful Blessings Inc. also owns Podium Records and WBBP radio station.Sources state that Hawkins has worked to block Ms. Patterson's income by changing the name of the book store within the church from Bountiful Blessings to Temple of Deliverance. Milton also changed the credit card machine as well. During the life of Bishop Patterson members of the church were allowed to sow into the Bountiful Blessing ministry on Sunday morning. member could make a contribution to both the church and the ministry. But Hawkins has changed that and I'm told that if any check comes through with Bountiful Blessings printed on it,it is stamped in the back with the Temple of Deliverance bank stamp and sent to the bank.Louise Patterson who receives a salary of $27,000 a month will soon be cut off from that income, while many in the church thought that it was a lifelong salary it was only to be paid for two years. So Mrs. Patterson is concerned about her lost of income from her salary and what I'm told minimum of $20,000 a Sunday in contributions that once were made to Bountiful Blessings Inc.At the time of Bishop Patterson's death the church had $4 million in its account. Many within the church are concerned about Hawkins whose paid $33,000 per month and has control of the check book purchasing land at over $300,000 to build a $1 million dollar home. many believe that Hawkins is using the church's money as his own personal bank account. The lawsuit does not name the church as a party, It's believed that Louise Patterson loves the church that for 40 years her and her husband worked to build but will not allow Hawkins who pastored a church in Detroit with only a little over a 100 members come into Memphis and steal from her. I might also note that the property that Temple of Deliverance sits on belongs to Bountiful Blessings Inc, where if Louise Patterson was to so choose could large enough rent that she could get thousands of dollars per month,But her sole desire is to just get what her husband left solely to her, Bountiful Blessing Inc. and its proceeds. 2.http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2008/aug/20/pattersons-widow-sues-his-replacement/?printer=1/Disclaimer: This is not my opinion but alleged facts brought to my attention. The Gospel tells us that St. Jude was a brother of St. James the Less, also one of the twelve. They are described by St. Matthew (13:55) as the "brethren" of Jesus, probably cousins. The Hebrew word for "brethren" indicates a blood relationship. His mother, Mary, was a cousin of the Blessed Mother.
