There really isn’t a good reason for this series to be this long. Issue one was great, but when the second comic hit the stands, everything changed. Instead of going in the right direction, Jim Krueger and company and proving to us why this twelve part series is about nine issues too long.

There is a silent war raging between man and the whitetail deer. Everyday, deer are fighting back with all four hooves, avenging the destruction of their ancestors and trying to regain lost control over the woodlands. Warning signs are clearly posted and the maimed carcasses of fallen hoof solider's litter the highways and country roads.
