You've got a problem. It's not just the drinking anymore. It IS YOU. It's taken over your life. It's hurting me like it hurt mom. That's why she killed herself. You've got to stop dad." And he started crying, huge sobs. At the sight of her father crying, Caroline cried even harder. It was the first time she'd ever said it aloud; her mother killed herself. Mr. Grovis silently slipped out of the room, giving the two some privacy. After some time they stopped sobbing and wiped their tears. Mr. Zolson pulled Caroline in and hugged her protectively. "I'm so sorry Caroline, so sorry. You'll always be my little girl, I love you." And they were crying all over again.Eventually they ran out of tears, and left the office. Both father and daughter apologized to Mr. Grovis for alarming him. He said it was gonna be alright. And Caroline knew Mr. Grovis was right, about everything.
